Smart motorways. Empty Smart motorways.

Are the most fucking ridiculous  idea ever to have been conceived by this government.
Bit of a misnoma.
The last thing they are are smart.
1 car breaking down and has already caused severe and fatal crashes  as they have nowhere to go but the inside lane.
And they always caused horrendous traffic jams where recovery vehicles and emergency services cannot gain quick access to injuries drivers and passengers.
It would be karma is the moron who instigated them were to be involved in an 'incident ' himself.
