Is Ms. Spielman indoctrinating us, didge? Is she trying to shape our minds, and thus perverting our education?

People forget that in the real world, kids are always going to be exposed to different ideas...ideas such as we all have.  How, and why, are going to set aside children and create a false environment for their beliefs?

Are we doing this because children are naive and vulnerable?  Hell, Trump supporters are much more naive and vulnerable.  And what to say about southerners ... shouldn't we protect them from "indoctrination"??

Kids are being indoctrinated all the time by their parents, friends and siblings.  What should teachers be teaching...only provable things...like global warning?  Everything is debatable.  Kids should be taught to think and debate ideas, not left alone recite and spit back flat-earth theories that are themselves inevitably corrigible.

Speaking of global warming, this sounds like a conservative counter-offensive against developing political ideas.  Because original thinking only takes place on the left, this is basically a political statement by RW'ers on a broad front.
