Well there must be literally several dozens of rhyming slang expressions but as a northerner I've never used them  .... except for two, which I have used all my life: > >


take a butcher's (butcher's hook = look) 
boat (boat race = face) 

[occasionally I say 'brown bread' ( = dead) yep, naughty & cheeky, I know]
