US Government shut down.
First topic message reminder :
BTW, The handful of us that live here in the US are facing a cataclysmic event.
With the government shut down, our very survival is in question. If this is one of my last posts, I want to give my regards to the forum and express my gratitude for the kindness displayed towards me.

Actually, that particular job has been resurrected, only today they call it "Trump-rimming".
It is shared by the Republican Speaker of the House and Republican Majority Leader in the Senate, although the Vice President, as President of the Senate, can nose his way in for ceremonial occasions.
May I take it that the position is now sponsored by Kleenex?
(Seriously, it was one of the most sought-after appointments of the Tudor court because the, er, holder, was constantly in close attendance to the monarch and privy to his most private thoughts).

You've had veggie fajitas and spinach enchiladas. Don't worry about the food poisoning cracks, because as Shakespeare said, haters are wont to hate.

Hahaha I luv American's eclectic cuisine.
If I go there again I'm headed straight to Louisiana to sample all that lush gumbo fare and culture. Even their funeral processions are joyful.

Mmmmmmmm crawfish.
Try and buy some Tony Chachere’s creole seasoning online and Slap Ya Mama Cajun seasoning. I use both of them lots. Brings a great taste to red beans and rice.

Well it only seems that way because you are such an arrogant, narcissistic asshole that you only listen to yourself. I've yet to see you add anything to any discussion.

No, it's embarrassing how many things I read that are incorrect. Like this topic. Nobody has presented anything to Trump for his signature. Trump hasn't vetoed a spending bill because Congress hasn't passed one.

I think I'm down as "still breathing." Seriously, I feel OK but I have an angiogram coming up early next month and I should know more then.
BTW, I think I meant to say "botulism in a bun..." Same thing though; locally it's known as Banjul Belly and boy, is it bad!

Re: US Government shut down.
Had my third Angiogram 6 months ago, you can watch it on a screen next to you if you want. You can watch the "wire" going up your artery into the heart. It does not hurt, the wire is fed into an artery through the Groin or the Wrist. When it's withdrawn, pressure is applied to the point of entry for a few minutes to stop the bleeding, it's very interesting !
