Trump only works 5 hour days

Donald Trump allegedly works a five-hour day starting around 11am and has regular breaks for “executive time”, according to a report in the US.

The Axios website claims to have obtained copies of the president’s private schedule, which is said to reveal the 71-year-old’s Oval Office work ends at 4.15pm.

The Trump administration insists the president is always on the go and is working around the clock. But the website suggests the diaries are very different to the sanitised versions doled out to the White House press corps.

Often, the earlier hours of the morning — and some in the afternoon — are reserved at Mr Trump’s request for executive time — presidential parlance for watching TV, making phone calls and tweeting.
