This video has come round again. Since I’m seeing The Messiah on Sunday, it’s great timing. This just make me hurt from laughing and smiling so much. Outstanding kids.

Re: CHRISTMAS
A very merry Christmas and a happy New Year to all.
I've just been given tidings that are far from welcome and joyful...namely, that the aged aorta valve is buggered and I'll have to have open heart surgery sometime in the early part of next year. Hey, ho....

Yes, I will, Eddie. I have known for about a year that there was a problem, but heading towards the great Eight-Oh and still being able to walk two or three miles behind a fast-moving dog without even getting breathless I didn't worry about it too much. This week's news has made me contemplate my mortality somewhat more seriously.
Now every twinge has me checking to make sure that my affairs are in order!

Hi, Quill. Not sure what "arthroscopically" means so I'll have to Google it up...which, with medical matters, is usually enough to scare the bejasus out of anyone!
I'm told that, to put it bluntly, I'm unzipped; the old sternum is split like a bit of kindling; the pumpy thing is turned off for a while while they rummage around in a box of spares to find something that fits and then they replace the faulty bit. Yeah, right....
At least I'm told I'll be in Papworth Hospital, Cambridge where the iconic Dr Christian Barnard did the first ever heart transplant half a century ago, so I'm lucky to be "done" by, hopefully, some of the UK's best.

Last couple of days here were over 40°C, before a cool change and thunderstorms last night...
Only mid-twenties today, but muggy after last night's rain..
Christmas day might be low-->mid-thirties, or it might be mid-twenties if we're lucky.

Look, mate, at my time of life renewal of the big end seals ain't a problem. It's actually finding the big end itself that's the problem....
