A friend of mine, a couple of years ago bought a slightly damaged Tea pot made by Minton from a car boot. It sold at Auction in London for nearly £32.000. He was claiming money for being out of work and had been claiming for 4 years. a TV program was made about it and it was seen by some one at the DHSS and recognised. He was taken to court and fined £18.000 !
