What happened to the thread about this yesterday??? The main hypocrisy that annoyed me most was not the creature's holiday, but the fact that he lives in state subsidised council housing.

Ben, with the greatest respect (and I genuinely mean that) you appear to tolerate practically anything which Catman posts, no matter how personal; no matter how offensive; no matter how obscene; no matter how provocative and no matter how irrelevant.

Yet you discipline Allakaka on the grounds of "content-free hate speech."

I am not levelling any accusation at you, but it will not escape notice that Catman's politics are decidedly Left, indeed obsessively so, while Allakaka is routinely condemned as a wicked Right wing Tory c*** and worse.

Now I don't like and most definitely do not agree with a lot of what he posts, but he has just as much right to express his strongly held opinions as does Catman, surely?

It's your site and what you say goes, but if you genuinely wish to have it regarded as a site which espouses and defends true freedom of speech - whether it is from the Left or the Right - then I have to admit that I for one am beginning to experience a modicum of disillusionment.
