More likely the attacker had a machine pistol...

A "machine gun" isn't the kind of weapon that a would-be serial killer or potential terrorist could easily hide on their person..

Quite often we see erroneous reporting on weapons from those journo's posting their initial reports..

Armalite manufactured, armalite ar-16. I prefer the MACK 10, but they aren't permitted in fully automatic here.

I don't approve of violence, but guns are small mechanical things. I love mechanical things, figuring how they work, etc.

I am familiar with firearms because of my extensive experience as an Arizona prosecutor/attorney in policing the border drug importation business. I couldn't help but be exposed to it. When you must demonstrate to a jury how to disassemble a MACK-10 or Uzi, you'd better be good at it.
