Nursery worker stabbed in Wanstead by three women

Karrien Stevens, who runs Little Diamonds nursery in Hermon Hill, confirmed that one of her staff was slashed by three women while on her way to work from Wanstead High Street.

While the woman waited at the junction with Hermon Hill at 9.30am, she was attacked from behind by the trio, according to Ms Stevens.

Ms Stevens said the victim told her the assailants then shouted: “Allah, Allah.”

The Met have confirmed that Counter Terrorism Command were aware of the incident but were not leading the investigation.

The nursery director said they then pulled the woman to the ground and stabbed her in the arm before running off down the street.

After being seen by paramedics, the victim was escorted round the local area to help spot her assailants but was unsuccessful.

A Metropolitan Police spokeswoman said: “We were called at 9.36am to reports of a stabbing in Hermon Hill.

“Officers responding to the scene discovered a woman in her 30s who had suffered slash wounds. Her injuries are not life threatening but she has been taken to hospital as a precaution.

“The three suspects fled the scene before police officers arrived and they are still not accounted for.”

Ms Stevens told the Recorder: “It’s scary that something like this can happen right in front of your doorstep.

“What is going on at the moment out there? It’s ridiculous. I don’t know what these people were hoping to achieve.”

Some schools reportedly stopped children from going outside earlier today.

They were Asian and were babbling on about the Koran and Allah. Probably three silly little girls who think they're doing something good for the 'Cause'. The same brainless mindset of those dolts who pissed off to be Jihadi Brides.

What these idiots don't realise or care about is that this is just going to wind people up even more and create further bad feeling against the Muslim community. Could even result in Muslims being attacked in the same way.

A nursery worker was slashed after being attacked by three women who shouted ‘Allah will get you’, a colleague has said.
The woman was set upon as she travelled to work at a nursery in Wanstead, north east London.

Karrien Stevens, who runs Little Diamonds in Hermon Hill, said the attackers ran away when someone approached them.
She said: ‘When she got to work we couldn’t believe it and called the police straight away. It’s terrible. I’m absolutely horrified.’
A colleague, who did not want to be named, said the victim had ‘three Asian girls behind her chanting the Koran, and saying ‘Allah’.
She added: ‘They pulled her to the ground, punched her, kicked her. One of them pulled out a knife and cut her arm from her wrist to her elbow.
‘The police turned up, the ambulance cleaned her wounds up.’
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said they were called at 9:36am on Wednesday to reports of an assault in Hermon Hill.
He said: ‘Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a woman, aged in her 30s, with a slash wound. Her injuries are not life-threatening.
‘She has been taken to an east London hospital as a precaution. The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival in an unknown direction.
‘No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue.’
‘Counter-terror officers are aware of the incident but it is not being treated as terrorism at this stage,’ the Met spokesman added.
The victim, described as a white woman, was attacked by three women ‘dressed all in black’ less than 10 minutes’ walk from the nursery at around 9.30am, her colleague said.
She insisted the incident was not related to the nursery or their work.
Asked about her colleague’s condition, she added: ‘She’s okay, considering. Obviously it’s a shock, she’s in shock. She was in tears and she had a cut right up her arm.
‘Her stomach was hurting, she had marks all over her, her hair was pulled out.’

A group of Muslim women have just been in court for terrorist offences for planning a knife attack...


How is this not a terrorist attack...?

If this is true, the girls are something more than "silly" or "stupid". They're dangerous criminals.

What is a "terrorist attack"? It's sounds more like gang activity. Knives? Beatings? Aren't there gangs in London.

Apparently, some woman being interviewed about the case said they were Asian but the BBC edited that bit out.

What is a terrorist attack, and how does it differ from other kinds of attacks? So far you are just repeating a hollow adjective. Is that all terrorist means?

If these were men it would be seen as terrorist attack. What difference because their women.

They attacked her from behind, hitting and kicking her on the ground, then produced a Stanley knife to cut her. It's racist and terrorist.

I didn't say that. Don't put words in my mouth, nicko. All things are possible, especially when we don't have information.

What I've questioned tommy on, is his definition of 'terrorism'. It could be a gang-related incident. It could be a race-related incident. But those possibilities have identifiable referents.

What I've asked tommy is, what does he mean by a terrorist incident?
