Google Glass Not Welcome Everywhere
Google's futuristic Glass headgear will be available before year's end. The device may well be the final step before human-machine interaction moves under our skin — but its wearers may trigger some undesired social reactions from friends and family members, and it may not go over too well at your local watering hole, either. In fact, judging from our early look, Google Glass won't be welcome in lots of places.

they were the same with the first camera phones eventually we will get less watchful once everyone has one.
I think these are valid concerns but at the same time with all the cameras around now that are owned by businesses or gov't that we were told if you're not doing anything wrong then you have nothing to fear, so same goes for google galss a company shouldn't be able to expect privacy when free citizen can't.

the obvious problem when driving is brain overload from all the information and it takes your attention off the actual road even though you may be looking at it.Beekeeper wrote::D
GOOD to see that some states over there in the USA are already cracking down on bicyclists wearing them while riding..
WONDER how long it will be before one sees bicyclists and motorcyclists on the road "wired up" to the gills and playing in the traffic ~ Google glass, intercom/CB/stereo(MP3), GPS, a collision/proximity alarm and avoidance system, heart monitor, road computer ?
WHEN all such beasts are already available individually, it's only a matter of when, not if..
A turn left turn right arrow for GPS directions might be fine, but if there is a huge amount of data being presented you cannot process it all. And you know some idiot is going to be surfing the web or watching a movie while driving to work.
It will also only be a matter of time before google starts bombarding you with ads based on where you are as you travel around.
It's not teh government you need to worry about spying on you, it is google who people actually encourage

I think we kill 2 birds with one stone (the other bird being too many cars on the road) we force people to do the test with google glass or equivalent while on the phone and with an in-car Movie player going. if you pass while doing all that you can drive other wise it on the bus for you
