Latest conspiracy theory on Obama

We've been talking about RW nutters in the US. I had to post this, the latest conspiracy theory. Totally weird, but if you listen to it very plausible. p.s. Don't bombard me with abuse, I think it's a bit bonkers, but worthy of argument.

Well, it's stupid, and these Tea Party birther conspiracies should have died last year when it came to light that their hero, Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz, was born in Canada. At that point, the birther movement and the Tea Party (there's a lot of overlap) was forced to admit that having one American parent means you're an American citizen at birth, no matter where you were born.
The best way I've seen it put -- Obama's mother was an American citizen, so she literally could have given birth to him on the floor of a madrasa in Mecca and it wouldn't have made any difference to his citizenship.

Sadly there are some very venemous and strange people who believe in this type of garbage no matter how many peaky facts tend to contradict them.
