The Sun strikes again.

Yet another vile,  opinionated article with racist overtones by a Liverpool hating 'journalist'.
Not content with getting itself banned from half of Liverpool, the Sun excelled itself by getting itself banned from the other half, thanks to sick, racist Kelvin MacKenzie, 
The have compounded the grossness by claiming to be unaware that Barkley had a Nigerian Grandparent.
Despite several articles by the same paper telling us that information.
McKenzie is the editor who falsely accused fans of urinating on corpses and stealing from them, for no ther reason than he detests scousers.
He has now finally been suspended.
He follows in a line of obnoxious hacks employed by Murdoch, Woodrow Wyatt, Kate Hopkins, Rod Liddle are just a few other loud mouthed bigots who stained the pages.

I guess reading the Sun is about their level. They should stick to colouring in their picture books with crayons. Except they dont use black or brown ones.

Why are you so angry Andy? You get so worked up about things that don't really matter.

I am angry because arseholes likeMurdoch think they can roughshod over the defamatory laws and ruin peoples lives.
I am not saying Barkley falls into this category, but the Sun has criminally targetted scores of people historically, often at great cost to both the recipient and the Sun ( and News of the World). Fred Mole will appreciate where I am coming from.
With free speech in journalism comes responsibility to publish well researched stories of fact and truth .
With the Sun, you get lies , smears,  illegality and corruption from the most gullible junior hacks , up to the editors and up as far as the owner.
MacKenzie has been hostile to Liverpool and Liverpudlians for decades. He hated his lies being outed, and hated even more the humiliation of having to make his insincere apology through gritted teeth.
He targets Liverpool at every opportunity. This was one rancid attack too many and too far.
Hopefully the Liverpool wide ban on this sordid little rag will hit them hard in  profits.
And will earn MacKenzie the sack.

What he said was quite rude and not very nice, but that's about it. People in different parts of the country often get stereotyped, so why should Liverpudlians be any different?

Re the gorilla remark, I don't think it was anything to do with race. The man doesn't look black, and why would anyone know he had a Nigerian grandfather? In any case, that still doesn't make him black.

But the Sun KNEW he had a  black grandparent, and had run stories on it in the past.
The errors of the story were compounded by the lie that they were not aware of his grandad being Nigerian

I still think it's a bit daft. Being compared to a gorilla isn't necessarily racist. It's not as if he even looks black.

I have ckearly answered rhat already Raggs.. The Sun, and MacKenzie have HATED everything and everone related to liverpool since Hillsborough after their lies were outed.

OK. I'd never heard of either of them, so it's all new to me.

I don't think they can do anything about the Liverpool thing as he's not libelling someone, and, as I said, people from other parts of the country are stereotyped as well. The gorilla comment can't be proved to be anything to do with race, so it's all a bit silly. Some of these columnists are quite rude about well-known people, but that's what happens when you're in the public eye.

Bet you read the Mirror Andy, i'v just bought the Sunday Sun and the Mail on Sunday. Both the biggest daily sellers in Britain. !
