The Mexico Tourism Board teamed up with creative agency LAPIZ to create the alcohol-emitting cumulus as a promotional stunt to attract tourists from Germany. The boozy cloud, installed at an art Gallery in Berlin, is meant as a playful reminder to Germans that sunnier times await in Mexico. The contraption is even synced with the local weather patterns, so whenever it rains in Berlin, the "tequila cloud" rains too.

The alcohol-infused cloud is actually a tequila-based mist held together by a plastic container that helps the mist keep its cloud-like shape. LAPIZ used ultrasonic humidifiers to vibrate the tequila at a frequency that turns the alcohol into the visible mist. Then, that mist is pushed into the plastic container, where all the magic happens.

Cloud machines like those could well prove to be great tourist attractions if they were set up along those Mexican beaches...
Getting drunk and tanned at the same time..

...and a cloud that rains Foster's XXXX on Bondi Beach?
You'd have to be able to move pretty fast to dodge the tinnies, though!
