Session's run...why did AG Sessions get his hat?

Lumped in there with all the bad news coming out about minority-President Trump's administration was the fact that Jeff Sessions was appointed US Attorney General, and almost immediately recused himself from the investigation of any probe related to 2016 presidential campaign.

But wait...rewind...and stop!  Jeff Sessions is a lawyer.  He knows his way around.  He no sooner gets inside the room, the administration inner-circle, and he wants to walk...nay, run???  What did he see?  What did he smell?  

Focus on the timing.  The lawyer in Sessions would know instinctively, he wants to be untainted immediately by whatever he saw in that room.  As Attorney-General, he would have been the boss of all those investigations...he would have seen what the investigators saw.  He would have shared conversations with fellow administrators--themselves not lawyers--and learned what they were chatting about...what they knew.  He removed himself post haste, once he saw something.  What did he see?  

Minority-President Trump was furious...so we know Session's run wasn't a part of the administrations plan.  Indeed, the anger in the minority-President's attitude suggests that it was contrary to the plan.  What you saw in Sessions recusal was a lawyer self-preserving himself for another day.  He wanted no part of what he saw!  What would make a lawyer, knowledgeable about the law, and knowledgeable about the investigation, and knowledgeable about the facts...Run like Hell!
