I saw the clip, it looked like a silver disc falling from the sky, I couldn't make out how big it was though. It would have been interesting to see where or if it actually landed.

No such thing as UFO's if little green men were flying around after travelling millions of miles to get here they wouldn't be pissing around in our atmosphere, they would have landed and said "Take me to your leader"

It is hugely presumptious to say UFO's do not exist and we are the only planet in the entire universe with intelligent life.
The universe is abosulutely vast, the chances of 1st contact are remote at best, and certainly intelligent extraterrestrials would only monitor us discreetly before making contact, if they had good intentions.
If they visited for other, more dastardly motives, they would just arrive unannounced and do what they came here to do.

It was heading downwards so wouldn't someone else have noticed it closer to the ground?

I thought the airshow jet was flying vertically upwards and the 'other flying object' flew horizontally across the area in sky...?

It was definitely heading across and downwards - it wasn't horizontal.

Yes, it went across, but it also went downwards. Did you watch the video?
