Trump is a threat to national security
One of the key security concerns raised in DeAgazio’s posts — which have since been made private — is the proximity of smartphones to such a sensitive briefing.
As CNN notes, the patio was only lit with candles and moonlight, and so Mr Trump’s aides used the flashlights on their camera phones to help him and Mr Abe read through the documents.
Washington Post reporter Philip Bump said this was highly problematic because smartphones can be used as wiretaps.
“Phones — especially phones with their flashes turned on for improved visibility — are portable television satellite trucks and, if compromised, can be used to get a great deal of information about what’s happening nearby, unless precautions are taken,” he wrote.
A phone flashlight overlooking official documents could have had disastrous consequences if the device was hacked, as the camera would be bearing down straight onto them.

For a man with so many links to Russia to allow one of his agents to film confidential documents should be impeachable offense.

Donald Trump's embattled national security adviser Michael Flynn has resigned after reports he misled administration officials about his contacts with Russia's ambassador to the US.
Mr Flynn's departure less than one month into the Trump administration marks an extraordinarily early shakeup in the US President's senior team of advisers.
In his resignation letter, Mr Flynn said he held numerous calls with the Russian ambassador during the transition and gave "incomplete information" about those discussions to Vice-President Mike Pence.
"In the course of my duties as the incoming national security adviser, I held numerous phone calls with foreign counterparts, ministers and ambassadors," Mr Flynn said in his resignation letter.
"These calls were to facilitate a smooth transition and begin to build the necessary relationships between the President, his advisers and foreign leaders.
"Such calls are standard practice in any transition of this magnitude.
and his 'security advisor' has had to resign over unlawful discussion with Russia.
How much more of America's Putin are patriots going to put up with???
He is selling your nation out to the commies either on purpose of through incompetence.

The resignation is one step. Wait until he is prosecuted for espionage. As an Alt-Rt'er, he's as vulnerable to the Republicans as he is to the Democrats. I'd give him a year before he's up on charges of illegal, secret negotiations with the Russians.

@IT
Fixed the link
Well he is letting people point smartphones at confidential documents. For Government employees with security clearance that is generally a instant dismissal or at least revoking of clearances. I leveled the same complaint at Hillary because of her unsecured email, I believe that even if elected if a president cannot abide by the security standard that gov't employees have to follow they should be disbarred from office.

And now Russia is upset it lost one of it's moles
RUSSIAN politicians have defended President Trump’s national security adviser Michael Flynn who resigned over his contacts with Russia, saying it was “something worse” than paranoia which drove the decision.
Konstantin Kosachev, chairman of the foreign affairs committee at the upper chamber of the Russian parliament, said in a post on Facebook that firing a national security adviser for his contacts with Russia is “not just paranoia but something even worse.”
Kosachev’s counterpart at the lower chamber of the Russian parliament, Alexei Pushkov, tweeted shortly after the announcement that “it was not Flynn who was targeted but relations with Russia.”
Mr Flynn resigned on Monday night conceding he gave “incomplete information” about his phone calls with Russia’s ambassador to the U.S. It follows reports he could become a target of Russian blackmail.
The US Army is also reportedly investigating whether Mr Flynn received money from the Russian government during a 2015 trip to Moscow, the New York Times reports.
Mr Flynn was paid to attend the anniversary of Russia Today, a Russian television network controlled by Vladimir Putin.
Mr Flynn, the Times suggests, sat next to Mr Putin himself.
Mr Flynn reportedly blamed his “faulty memory” rather than apologise, the publication claims.
The White House is apparently in such a state over the controversy, “the knives are out”, a White House official told CNN.
“There’s a lot of unhappiness about this.”
President Trump has remained uncharacteristically quiet over the news.

Re: Trump is a threat to national security
PRESIDENT Putin appears displeased at losing his man in the Trump administration: Russian warplanes have buzzed a US navy destroyer and a spy ship has appeared off the US coast.
The US Navy has today revealed Russian Su-24 attack jets swooped on the USS Porter in the Black Sea on Saturday Australian time, less than a day after President Trump announced he was ‘considering’ National Security Advisor Michael Flynn’s future.
Mr Flynn’s fall from grace — and resignation yesterday — followed controversy over his allegedly close ties to Russian powerbrokers, and his attempts to cover-up a series of phone calls to the Russian ambassador.
Now Moscow has suddenly ramped-up its aggressive military posture-making.
In what the US Navy calls ‘unsafe and unprofessional’ conduct, the destroyer was approached three times by Russian military aircraft which refused to respond to queries.
Meanwhile, a Russian spy ship has been located sitting off the US East Coast amid revelations Russia secretly deployed new medium-range nuclear-tipped cruise missiles — a violation of a 1987 treaty — to two sites in Europe in December
and now Russia is Buzzing US ships with war planes

So how is American's Putin going to deal with the real deal? the problem is Trump is all bluster and no substance, as is his style in Business too

Re: Trump is a threat to national security
RUSSIA hasn't been a "communist" country since 1991.
The communist party has been sitting on the Opposition benches since, polling around 20%, give or take, in subsequent elections.
Putin's government is actually more of a 'nationalist' mob, though still maintaining some socialist links to their past -- universal healthcare, free education guaranteed (inc. the first Uni' degree for those smart enough..), controlled housing prices..
Russia now has dozens of billionaires and hundreds of millionaires -- with Putin's personal fortune being 'guestimated' at anywhere between $USD 2 billion and $20-odd billion !

It's intentional veya. Those smartphones are a direct link to the Russian intelligence ship 30-miles off the coast of the US.
Trump always does the obvious right under our noses,..even complains that it's possible (the election is rigged...). His tactics are drawn up by the Russians.
Russians fancy themselves poets...they love the irony.

Putin's government is, plain and simple, Russian Mafia. When they chopped off the head of Yuri Andropov's administration, ironically they lost their moral soul. But all the rest is intact.
It's right there in front of us...open to view.
