So-Called President Trump tweeted on Saturday that the price of the proposed wall on the southern border between the U.S. and Mexico will go “way down” after he negotiates. Trump’s tweet comes two days after Reuters reported that the wall could cost as much as $21.6 billion. “I am reading that the great border WALL will cost more than the government originally thought, but I have not gotten involved in the design or negotiations yet,” Trump said in a series of tweets. “When I do, just like with the F-35 FighterJet or the Air Force One Program, price will come WAY DOWN!”

21 billion, on a completely ineffective wall.
21 billion all gone up in smoke. Not to stop illegal immigration, but to win some popularity, at the expense of the tax payers.

It was a campaign promise that got him elected.
Obama promised to close Gitmo when he first ran. 8 years and 2 terms later, it's still open.

I have to say, I'm very impressed with as much as Trump has gotten accomplished in his short time in office. One thing is for certain: He's showing that he intends to deliver on his campaign promises. That's something we haven't seen from an elected official in forever.

Obama had a House and Senate with Democratic majorities for 2 years and didn't do squat.
Government is now moving at The Speed of Trump. He's coming through with his campaign promises... and that has the Liberals mad.

What you're witnessing is an accelerated rate of policy making. Unlike Obama's first two wasted years in office, Trump is going to take full advantage of his party's majority in Congress. If the Liberals are seething angry with him now, they're going to metamorphosize into some breed of demon-spawn before Trump's first 2 years are up.

So you are justifying wasting billions on an ineffective wall, because he promised to waste the tax payers money on building one? On top of that it will be impossible to constantly monitor, let alone the annual cost ( no doubt at least 4-5 billion) in manpower and maintenance to maintain. Let alone as already stated, that it will be ineffective from preventing people from entering the US.
