you can, just post them like a Picture using the 'insert image' button on the tool bar

you can, just post them like a Picture using the 'insert image' button on the tool bar

you find them on google(etc) and copy the URL or you can post one from your computer (using the picture upload function) and use the URL it gives you.
I don't use Facebook, not sure what you mean by 'search them'?
Alternatively use a scripted method

You don't use Facebook?
On Facebook, if I clicked on Gif and typed in "police" I would get dozens od gifs about cops. Click on the gif I like and voila, it's posted.
