Want to try a low-PAMP diet? According to the study in question, types of foods thought to be low in PAMPs include:
fresh fruit
fresh vegetables
fish
un-minced meats
Common sense.
"Scientists say they have cracked what makes processed foods… harmful," the Daily Mail reports. A small study suggests that processed foods that are high in "PAMPs" – pathogen-associated molecular patterns – may trigger inflammation inside the body.

What that rule of thumb? "Brown" food is bad...i.e. Chips, breadcrumb coatings, batter, pastry, cakes, biscuits....
And gluten intolerance is very common now and lactose .
Yes of course. Gluten is shit and there are now so many people suffering from this added and unnecessary, substance. The trouble is, lots of people wouldn't even know they're necessarily intolerant as adverse effects can be subtle.
You are what you eat.

Rubbish again
A gluten-free diet is one that excludes most grains, and it is recommended for people who have celiac disease or gluten sensitivity. For other people, however, going gluten-free can be unhealthy. The benefits and risks of a gluten-free diet should be carefully weighed, especially if the person starting the new diet doesn’t really need to restrict gluten intake.

It took 46 years to become intolerant to banana - my immune system dealt with it until it gave up then the chronic pain started . I went to the doctors and he told me that banana intolerance can take years to have adverse affect and that if i stop eating banana and it is indeed the cause then the problem is solved . I stopped banana for a month and had no pain then i had half of a banana and the chronic stomach ache and other symptoms . It's the only way to identify food intolerance .
Right, so someone can't really spend all those years trying to work out if food caused their autoimmune disease.
Anyway, I'm glad you found the culprit eventually!
I never had any symptoms for 46 years because my immune system dealt with the problem but then the symptoms started showing .

Ah that's horrid, having an illness like that at such a young age. Glad she's well and thriving now.

This is a helpful link to find out about health related issues.
My Dr recommended ti once, there is so much rubbish available online, this one follows NHS guidelines.
http://www.nhs.uk/pages/home.aspx
I follow a mediterranean diet, that's the sort of food I like anyway, but I think everyone has to listen to their own body.
I cant eat brown bread now....so I stick to white, spring onions used to bring on migraines when I was younger...so I avoided them.
There may not be any recorded medical evidence that this happens, but your own experience is the best when it comes to eating healthily for yourself.

Exactly. Tried and tested methods created by you, for you.

I tried to open the link about pineapples in late pregnancy, but my laptop froze up both times.....I hadn't heard of that.
I did find another link that said eating 7 or more of the fruits could have an effect.
There is often some truth hidden somewhere in old wives tales.
