Horse Carrots

2 years ago I bought 5 tons of horse carrots which were deemed
'not fit for human consumption', which was correct but most were OK, I sold them to 2 riding schools who collected them, I made a few shillings.

This morning I had a phone call from the same source asking me if I was interested in buying another 5 ton but they must be collected by the purchaser, I phoned back and said YES but they will need to be cheap as last time you delivered them, price agreed, they have just been collected and are in transit to my sons barn.

Gotta get busy on the phone today before they really go rotten.

Be quick....NOTHING smells worse than the smell of mouldy carrots.

Some are already slimy and stink, Syl.

I have sold half of them for the price I paid for the whole load.

There were containers of apples and bags of potatoes chucked in for good measure.

The lads who work for our son came back in early today as job finished and sorted out some good carrots, apples and spuds, stirring them up makes them smell worse he has said, he says apples are lovely and sweet.

Tomorrow the spuds will be tipped gratis into the sides of 3 duck holding ponds where I shoot, the pigs will get apples and carrots gratis, I will get some pork when I have room for it.

To make any profit I gotta get rid of the rest tomorrow or they will stink the shire out. lol

I know several pig famuz so I should be OK

BTW, I ain't paid for them yet, bet he comes around later.

Bill paid, all carrots and other stuff gone.
He brought 10 bags of sprouts which stunk horrible, pigs had them, I will stay clear, lol.
Made small profit, gained promise of pork and duck shooting, helped 2 friends, I am happy.
