Did you know this about MP Jo cox's husband Brendon cox?

THE husband of Batley and Spen MP Jo Cox has quit his job after accusations of “inappropriate behaviour”.

Brendan Cox left his post as chief strategist for the Save the Children charity in September after complaints from women staff.

A national newspaper reported a source as stating Mr Cox strenuously denied any wrongdoing.

Mrs Cox, elected in May, is still listed as equalities and discrimination advisor at the Labour Women’s Network.

She declined to comment when asked by The Press about claims against her husband.

No evidence was found to support the charges but a source said Mr Cox left Save the Children suddenly.

The source said: “Some people were unhappy there was no proper internal investigation into the allegations.”

Another source said: “Several of the women complained about inappropriate behaviour by Brendan.

“When the charity did nothing about it they threatened to make a huge fuss. Shortly afterwards it was announced that Brendan was leaving.”

impossible to make a reasoned judgement either way...

so on the basis of innocent until proven etc ...

LF... it appears that a number of women raised complaints of serious issues... the charity refused to launch an internal investigation which would have substantiated the existence of the complaints in a formal manner and on record... then only after the women took the standpoint of collectively saying "do something or else we go public", resulted in the announcement that the man was leaving...


The organisation slipped him out the side door before the complaints/allegations were allowed to reach officially recognised and recorded investigational status...

even so....

all there is untill "tried" is "hearsay" not evidence....

Not quite... there were numerous complaints... refusal of organisation heirachy to act in properly investigating complaints... but instead letting him slip out side door before proceedings could commence...

Why would you assume that the women were lesbians, and why would a "mad militant lesbian action group" in particular want to force a man with a political wife out of their workforce?

The article stated there was no evidence to back up the claims. Could well be after the accusations were made he found it uncomfortable to continue working there so he left.

There may have been no evidence simply because he was allowed to slip off before a formal investigation happened that would involve the collation of evidence...
