BBC South East understands the army has been asked to put contingency plans in place to ensure commuters get to work if the disruption continues.
Military leave could be cancelled and soldiers asked to drive buses carrying passengers in the worst hit areas.

SOLDIERS ordered to driving buses to break a strike...
The Ugly Face of Thatcherism policy, at it's best..

Many families won't be too happy, with what's being asked of those poor soldiers.

Then again, if it's like when John Howard put the SAS onto Aussie wharves in the 1990s (to guard scab labour, in that case..), they will be sure to have the bus drivers and their guards wearing balaclavas, so that noone can identify exactly who is providing the scab labour.. The Government have put the military on alert because the privately owned systems of infrastructure are collapsing with decay to put shareholder dividends (our taxes) before public safety.

This is what the tories do, they asset strip, run down and sell off our infrastructure to their rich buddies who've been given a tax break to purchase them,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and then they blame immigrants.

Penfold, you must realise that austerity is not required for economic necessity but for far right ideology, it's all about the greed of the few, and now they've introduced the military into an extremely dangerous ongoing dynamic!
