ALL properties held for rent in these "portfolios" prevented from being sold to anyone EXCEPT the current occupant, at a suitable discount OR the local authority
henceforth NO one able to hold more than 5 rental properties

the ONLY exception being those properties used as a business, catering to the holiday trade, (which MUST show at least 9 months per year use as holiday lets after the first 24 months of being in business....)

Tax minimisation is the legitimate reductions of taxes, vis. Tax laws..

Tax "avoidance" describes those "grey" legal areas, where shonky businesses, investors and politicians use tax havens, loopholes and tricky accounting to disguise their tax evasion schemes as some kind of tax minimisation.


The constant b/s and obfuscations by Pte Pain, Deano and Ragg's and co, on this issue says more about their moral ambivalence and their collective admiration for white collar criminals, than anything else..
