Those who abuse and exploit the most vulnerable in our society --   children, the elderly, the disabled, even animals --   often do get what they deserve,  once behind bars..

I have been told by a couple of people who work in prisons down here,  what can happen to those worse kinds of abusers, when other inmates are allowed to mete out their own punishment.

Two of the children were his biological son and daughter and the other two were his stepson and stepdaughter.  The court heard the children have suffered devastating and lasting consequences as a result of the abuse.
"You reaped incalculable damage upon their lives," Judge David said.
The man's wife was also found guilty of false imprisonment because she was complicit in her husband's abuse against two of the children between 2011 and 2013.
She was jailed for three years with a non-parole period of two years.
To protect the identity of the children, neither the man or woman can be named.

But it really chaps my ass that the mother received such a light sentence ...when she was found GUILTY for participating in SOME of the abuse, but was a silent consenting adult to ALL OF THE ABUSE!

they are going down, but reporting in much more prevalent
Remember Saville etc had been doing it for DECADES and all their Decades worth of abuse was revealled in one go. so it seems more but it is really modern people Bringing past peados to justice.

It's still so horribly shocking that in this the 21st century we have children/wives and even young men being sexually abused - sold into sex slave trades world wide and the black market just keeps getting sneakier and sliding by undercover!

And isolated as this instance was ...OMG, those poor little ones had NO ONE to turn to - no body to check up on them!  DAMMMMM

well I don't know if shocking is the right word (as humans have historically been pretty terrible and really the fact we still are should not be a great suprise.) it is awful but unrealistic to expect there to be no awful people in the world.

Isolated is an understatement, Port Augusta is famous for being the the end of Civilization, go north and you enter the red deserts. I have travelled there for work a number of years ago, a place of harsh Beauty but not a lot of people.

Other local info: 25years is max life sentence, only way higher is Multipule life sentences.

Given that we are - we have, so much more rapid media access at our disposal, it would seem to me that the ugly part of our HUMANITY could see that they will be found out - and they will pay for their sexual deviancy!  But as I just typed that; I've had to refuse to go on anymore animal rescues where we've had to remove the dogs from some cretin that has been preforming bestiality upon the poor dog.  I'd prefer to just put a slug into the human and be done with it ...I was told to wait in the VAN!  

I'll just throw in the towel and say; my human life forms SUCKS and we really - really need to do a whole lot better than we have been and I do not believe in HELL.  It's happening all around us!
