Re: Injunction On Prison Officers NOT To Strike
if the government insist that prisons are run like holiday camps with prisoners called by their first names and officers having to knock on cell doors before going in, why do they act shocked when officers get pissed off with all the rules and regulations that prevent them from treating unruly prisoners as they should be treated.

The way prisons here have been run for the last couple decades simply doesn't work.
The softly softly approach makes them more like a youth club and universities of crime than of places of correction/punishment/discipline/rehabilitation...

"spineless prison officers" what a vile specimen you are, these officers are at the front line, often taking the brunt of violent crime and personal injury to protect the public.Major wrote:The spineless prison officers have bought this upon theirselvez by not standing up to the government over the yearz.
Ya gotta stand up and be counted.

Run all prisons like the "Glasshouse" at ALDERSHOT, with Army MP'S as Warders. End of problems.
