Brexit: lightening strike in waziristan
remain campaigners today invoked "chaos theory" claiming a lightening strike in waziristan , caused by a butterfly beating its wings in mongolia unduly influenced the vote for exit and therfor there should be a rerun of the referendum..... (google "butterfly effect")

No, the vote should stick
the Uk have voted to commit Seppuku
Now they must go through with it.

Re: Brexit: lightening strike in waziristan
how is not happening?
Youi have no leader
being forced from the EU
half the UK is planning to leave the UK
you still have no trading partners
and no one is that keen to trade with you.
Great Britian is in it's death throws
You will be only England before long
You relevance entirely hisotrical, like Austria.
Successfully going independant would require a leader with plans yet the leader of the exit campaign says the leader of the stay campaign should have had a plan even though he openly said he'd resign. which he has done.

True.....and possibly non the worse for that......you DO realise that britain is sufficiently robust to carry on even IF all of parliamnet was wiped out instantly ...dont you....
being forced from the EU
Like...erm nope....we , it might have escaped your notice...have told THEM to shove it
half the UK is planning to leave the UK
and thats a bad thing...oh goody...the housing crisis solved ...for one thing
you still have no trading partners
no but give it time
and no one is that keen to trade with you.
bull shit
Great Britian is in it's death throws
so what?
You will be only England before long
see above

you dont see many "thin" austrians ...do you...last time I visited austria they all seemd quite happy

Well, as we always do we will just have to "get down to it and sort it..."
you should know by now we thrive on what everyone else calls crisis
as per...you REALLY have NO idea of the people of this country....

Re: Brexit: lightening strike in waziristan
see how can you tell them to shove it?
they can literally just start chucking you out
YOU DO NOT GET TO DECIDE
You have said you want out! now like a jilted lover they can throw you and all your shit to the curb whether you are ready or not.
And the Austrian may be happy but they seem to have also accepted the new world surpassing them, which England will also have to do.
it will have to stop thinking it gets choices or get to make any decisions from now on as it is too weak and must bend to the will of the big players.

Idiot...they CANT......there are NO rules allowing the commission or anyone else the ability to remove a member....the ONLY way out is either article 50 OR we repeal the act that took us in...they would literally have to invent, agree and implement new rules, the rammifications of which would not escape other members.....and are unlikely to suceed...these could THEN be challenged by us in the court....not only that but, since we havnt YET triggered article 50....we could veto these new rules (since by law we are still members) Really veya...keep it shut untill you know what you are blabbering on about.....your monkey chatter is getting silly now....

Re: Brexit: lightening strike in waziristan
The German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande were leading calls for urgent EU reform, to survive Britain's exit and to ensure the union's continued survival.
They would discuss ways to dissuade other countries from following the UK in leaving the union, the BBC reported.
There was also much talk behind the scenes about how quickly the split could be achieved, with some member states reportedly wanting to remove Britain as soon as possible and before incumbent British Prime Minister David Cameron is replaced.
The President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, said he wanted to start negotiations on Britain's exit from the EU immediately.
German foreign minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said the EU must not fall into "depression and paralysis".

thats pretty aggressive talk about forcing you to move quickly.

Re: Brexit: lightening strike in waziristan
Yeah, the EU wants to be rid of the UK even faster than vice-versa. Clearly they've drawn up a game plan for victory, while the UK still fusses over who's going to be the next PM. Not to mention the vast miles of trade treaties to be negotiated in order to just secure what it had without even having to bargain for.
You just can't get around the fact that the British demoted themselves, on purpose, to relic status.

You really are in panic mode aren't you? Don't worry - you're safety tucked away in Texas, so worry about your own "Texit" instead.

Not worried about Texit at all, I'm worried about the world economy. If you haven't noticed -- and I bet you have tried hard not to notice -- it has gotten worse today.
