3rd year in a row. And 16 of the last 17.
The climate change denyers such as Donald Chump and Tommy Chump will call it as a lie.
Fucking morons.
2016 will be the hottest year on record, UN says

colder winters??? we havnt had a "cold " winter for over 30 years

COLD was 1963

since then we have only had the odd spell of cold for a few days

OR the odd day of heavy snowfall

I doubt seriously that YOU know what a cold winter is

I think you're right. I moved from the south to the frozen north, except that the north is not frozen any more - I have never felt cold in Cumbria - and I should.

1963 was cold , wasnt it. Remember opening the front door for first day back to school after xmas, the snow was up to my shoulders. Sadly, a snow plough cleared a path along our road and school reopened about 3 days later.

I remember opening our back door and getting burried under an avalanch as the snow piled up against it to over its height all fell into the kitchen....

Mother just laughed, as I emerged spluttering from the mound sitting there

then I had to shovel it back out....

and dig a path to the coalhouse down the yard......

as for cold, it was so cold for so long that it actually managed to strike down 2+ feet and freeze the water main to the house for several days..... we were melting and boiling snow for water......

and shudder,,,,the toilet was the old "thunderbox" jobbie waaay down the yard.....one did NOT hang around contemplating ones navel I can tell you.......

I remember when I was in my cave back in 789bc and all the aardvarks were dead from frostbite. We had to eat our own loin cloths.

That was a harsh winter.

That's a lie - aardvarks live in Africa and 789BC was a warm year there. Rolling Eyes

Well I must be particularly nesh then because the last few day I have felt freezing cold.
It warmed up a bit yesterday...went to York and it was OK considering it's further north than Manchester.

We have also had a crap summer here....mostly cloudy and definitely not warm.

Let me guess, it was the cold that made them leave for Africa. Laughing
