Yes - especially considering the doubt as to whether the actual Number of The Beast is 666 or 616.

The O/P as presented is totally meaningless..

Its author has simply started with a fairly common premise --  the knowledge that there are a lot of gullible, superstitious fools in the world, simply looking for another faux "conspiracy" to fuel their irrational fears --  and then cherry picked random numbers (some of which may well be total b/s anway, simply invented to bolster his/her backstory..) to support their nonsense.

And then enough desperate 'I want to believe !' types will grab the story, and run with it..     bounce         bounce         bounce

Out of curiosity I am always looking up the origin/etymology of unusual or interesting words and
I've noticed over the past ten years or so that the answer is often given with a degree of uncertainty,
Moreover there is often more than one  explanation offered, with plenty of guesswork involved.


There is nowt to say one explanation is more valid than the other here,  and this is the usual case
