I've pointed out that one's handbag is open, and not even guarded. It's usually in a check-out line in a grocery store. Half the women are appreciative and half are huffy.

I can't believe how careless some people are. Evil or Very Mad

I was in Newcastle today, noticed folks have a much more pleasant demeanour than where I live and elsewhere.

I'm not sure where you're from Eddie' I'm from Cumbria but lived in London and Berkshire for years , husband is from Newcastle.

I find folks here in Cumbria a bit wary of outsiders but in Newcastle it all seems more friendly.

I'm originally from London but now live on the outskirts of London (greenbelt area), and people are mostly friendly.

Yep. It's always been very mixed, I've never known any different. My class in school was a mix of different colours and races and we all got on pretty well. There was never any racism that I know of and most of us are in touch on other social media sites.
