Sunderland 2 Southampton 3
Arsenal 4 Fulham 1
Crystal Palace 2 Stoke 1

Re: English Football predictions
So looks to me you predicted one perfectly and only missed the winner on two? Not bad!

I wish I could Nicko, sadly no, can assess though teams who might win, which I don;t know why I never have a flutter really on this as you can do an accumulation of wins, though here again I would have lost

A true Gooner will always root for Spurs to lose as I always do Eilzel, I can afford to see Man City win one game though would be also happy with a draw :D
You must be surprised Arsenal has not started to falter yet?
March will be the month I think it will be decided, Arsenal play Bayern Munich, followed by Spurs, then Chelsea then Man city.

Yeah but I think you should slip sooner, Man Utd then Liverpool in February
Then again United are crap right now and Liverpool have slipped a few times now- but yes I am surprised Arsenal are still hanging in there, convincingly too! Hope it does come to a nail biter at the Emirates

Re: English Football predictions
That is the point Eilzel by now Arsenal normally have fucked up, but its not going according to the script, which is making it even more interesting. Each game I expect them to fuck up, even getting like your man from the book and film fever pitch expecting the worse and constantly being suprised.
And I have been to see and watch Arsenal win the league many times from the most impressive being at Anfied in 1989 watching Arsenal win on the last game of the season, and you think it will never get better than that, well I was wrong, you never lose that buss of having a glimmer of hope it may actually happen again, funny thing faith when it is not religious!

Re: English Football predictions
Haha totally agree- City push it; even when we won 2 years ago it was only after very nearly blowing what should have been a routine push over- last minute of the season- sensational- I'm really hoping we can do it sooner this year- gotta have faith

Re: English Football predictions
It will be hard to deny City the title this year. They have the best players but I hope the Gunners do it because they are probably the best managed club in the league both on and off the field and Wenger takes great credit for sticking with the type of game they play. Sometimes they are like an ochestra but consistency is their main problem.

Fair points Irn and Eilzel, I just hope it goes down to the wire, nothing more enjoyable or nerve wracking either, keeping you on the edge of your seats for months

Super Sunday is great when it's down to the wire. Flipping from game to game as the results change is the business.
Bring it on
