As I said, our differences are of no consequence, as long as the US gets it right.  I'm not as concerned about the first female president...we are perhaps the first western nation to ever have an African president, and that's significance enough.  I don't even think of Hilary's gender; I think of her as the right persona for America's needs right now.  We need an unimaginative policy nerd who knows all the in's and out's of policy and legislation.

It is said that one's enemies have far more estimation of one, than one's friends.  I think you way overestimate Hilary.  The person you so despise is a caricature creation of the RW.  The overwhelming, if nefarious talents that you attribute to her and not there.  In western culture there as always been this prototype of a female shrew--the French call her the pince bec (pinched beak)--who rags on men--the male counterpart is the man who comes home from his girlfriend's, drunk and sloppy--and generally makes his life miserable.  The Republican image machine has done a marvelous job making Hilary in this prototype.

But alas, it's WMD's all over again.  It's just another Republican lie, which as I've explained is the RW stock in trade.  We, the liberals in America, have learned to dismiss the products of the Republican fantasy machine, especially since the faux Iraq War.

As I said, and on which I see we concur, it doesn't matter if we agree on Hilary.  All that matters--to me, if not to you--is that she is elected president of the US.  There is so much more at stake than the specific person elected.
