Olympic Equestrian 2016: Medal Winners and Scores for Monday's Results

Charlotte Dujardin and Valegro's reign atop the dressage world cannot be stopped.
The British rider rode a sterling program in Monday's individual dressage to scamper away from the field and earn her second straight gold in the event.
Her total score of 93.857 was more than four points ahead of Isabell Werth, who rode Weihegold to a score of 89.071 in second place.
The German, who earlier this year won her country's event, finished one spot ahead of compatriot Kristina Broring-Sprehe.
Broring-Sprehe's score of 87.142 was good enough to earn her bronze and give Germany a two-medal day in the equestrian event.

Medal Rider Score Gold Charlotte Dujardin (Great Britain) 93.857 Silver Isabell Werth (Germany) 89.071 Bronze Kristina Broring-Sprehe (Germany) 87.142
Dujardin is quickly becoming one of the most decorated riders in history. Monday marked her third gold medal and second overall medal in these Olympics, joining a silver won during the team event. While Great Britain drawing silver was a bit of a disappointment, Dujardin walked in as a clear favorite in the individual competition.
Her routine ranked first among every judge in the event and drew a sensational overall score of 97.714 in the artistic section. She was also the only rider to even sniff 90 in the technical scores, indicative of her near-flawless ride overall.
That said, she did not win over the internet. That distinction went to fifth-place Spaniard Severo Jesus Jurado Lopez, who rode into everyone's hearts with a routine that included 1999 hit "Smooth" by Carlos Santana and Rob Thomas.
Luckily, in 2016 currency, internet gold medals count for nearly as much as actual ones. Lopez and his horse have fantastic taste in music, if not quite the difficulty or technique necessary to wind up on the podium.
Dujardin brought home the 40th medal for Great Britain and its 16th gold. The latter number ranks second among all countries and the former third. The Brits appear set on battling China in the final week for second place in the overall medal count, continuing a trend from their strong 2012 showing in London.
Germany's 19 total medals sit ninth among all countries.
