The lovely 'migrants' of Calais

A truck driver passing through Calais has been threatened by an illegal immigrant wielding a chainsaw, during a night of violence which also saw a lorry set on fire and cab windows smashed.

No one was hurt during the dangerous encounters, but both UKIP and the Freight Transport Association (FTA) have called for action warning that it is only a matter of time before a driver is killed.

Locals have described a “night of violence” as “rioting” migrants dragged debris onto the motorway leading to the port and set fire to it in a bid to slow lorries down enough to smash their way inside.

I keep saying this easy solution... round them all up... then the Africans should be removed and handed over to the African union to deal with... and the middle eastern ones should be handed over to the Arab league to deal with...!!!


The French need to be using a lot more force against these violent criminals!!!

Their failure to act properly and effectively is perpetuating the problems!!!



Travel sector losses for this one night of illegal immigrant violence was said to be £21million.



Would be cheaper for lorry drivers to each have an armed guard on board who could shoot the cnuts...!

Calais has been a big problem for a while now. I'm not sure where Hollande is playing at. He needs to do something - his own country is going to shit.

African union should take back the Africans to deal with and Arab league should take back the mid easterns to deal with...

Handys answer is to do nothing, pretend it's not happening, deny its happening and shout 'racist' at anyone who says it is, then act surprised when a British lorry driver is attacked and murdered by 'the lovely migrants' (who he thinks we should all be welcoming to come here to uk)...!

Except HT... the police in France don't seem to be doing much and the media aren't reporting it either...

I found this to be very touching. A Calais resident speaks from the heart of how this has affected her, her family, friends and the place she loved.

It seems so, a bit like our own press, police, government that tend to squash news of certain crimes commited by certain groups for fear of causing more unrest.

There are always two sides to every story, but this woman speaks from the heart and why should she lie? I believe what she is saying.

Sure, most murderers have some justification in their head as to why they took human lives, but how is that different from being convinced you're Napoleon?

I've often thought that because we all know how final death is, and how abhorrent it is to take someone's life, there must be a switch that goes off in a person's head, to make them forget all of that, before they take a life.

Is that the same as "insanity for a moment"?

Mostly. But how about those who kill in self defence? The battered wife, the abused? It's still classed as murder, or manslaughter. You still do time for it.

There's no reason for all those people to be in Calais if they're not entitled to enter the UK. It's time for the whole place to be sorted out. Threats of violence to people going about doing their jobs is really not on.

They're not even entitled to be in France!!!


Round them up and ship them back to where they came from!!!
