British Tourists In France To Be Accompanied By Armed Guards Following Spate Of Terror Attacks

Armed police and soldiers will guard French holiday sites popular with tourists this summer following a growing number of terrorist attacks across the Channel. Britons visiting France will see heightened security at festivals, fairs and beaches, as well as stations and airports.Backpacks will also be banned on some beaches under new rule

While this is a welcome additional security for people, this is only and should only be a temp measure. When the real problem is rooting out the Islamists in the country which has grown in mass numbers and now is placing France nearer and nearer to a conflict that could see people rise up against this thread. With then mass bloodshed on the streets of France and that then will be a case of many innocent Muslims suffering. So they need to do their part also by ousting these Islamists, before this escalates out of control.

What a great sight when you go on holiday, armed police everywhere.

The terrorist organisations are winning. They must look at all this and laugh, knowing their work is done: terror on every corner without having to physically be there.

Police are already present and have been for decades in tourist areas in this country.
Its common sense as they are high value targets to terrorists.
That is not a case of the terrorists winning but a measure required in order to protect.
At the end of the day, what is a few more armed police, other than reassurance?

Again though what should be done is sorting out Islamism in France
