Absolutely nothing to lol about
That beautiful animal destroyed because some stupid idiots can't keep their child safe.
Look at the pictures and see the difference when Levan Merrick fell In With our gorgeous Jambo. Jambo protected him and the keepers got the gorillas inside without any injury or death.
This makes me so sad.

I agree with Nems. The stupid parents who let this child drift into harms way, should have been made to go get the kid.
Now this elegant animal is dead. Will they be prosecuted? Doubtful.

A beautiful animal, and endangered species, shot because some idiot of a parent didn't watch their child, in a situation where you should be holding their hand tight. I watched the video, the gorilla appeared to be protecting the child and pulled it through the water when the crowd were making a huge amount of noise.
What a foul title to put on this thread, utterly repellant.

Quite right. The outrage over here is enormous. CPS should investigate this family and the parent should be sued by the Zoo.
