U.S. inmate escapes prison -- goes back because it's so damn cold Odd-deep-freeze-prison-escape

FRANKFORT, Kentucky – The harsh cold winds have made staying indoors a priority for everyone, and for one man even a prison cell is better than dealing with the cold weather, reports CBS affiliate WKYT. Robert Vick, an escaped Kentucky prisoner, turned himself in to authorities Monday, citing the cold climate for his surrender.

Vick, 42, escaped from a minimum security facility in Lexington on Sunday where he was serving a six-year sentence for burglary and a five-year sentence for criminal possession of a forged instrument.

He only managed one day in the elements, however, before deciding that there are worse places to be than prison.

I once knew a man who forged instruments. He made a violin out of paper mache and tried to pass it off as a real one played by some famous violin dude. That’s a really bad thing to do.
He never went to prison though, he ended up making a guitar out of frogturd and passed it off as a Jimmi Hendricks signed ting.
