It was sufficiently bad that I have locked it in the vaults so to speak Miffs....its not merely a case of our own "community rules" this broke our hosts (forumotion) rules too. i'm not about to put it back on public display......

I saw what he wrote and it wasn't nice.
They weren't his own words though...it was a racist "joke" told by the late comedian Charlie Williams, who often used to use colour to get a laugh.
Obviously his style of humour has long since stopped being shown on TV, where he was really popular back in the day.
His punchline was "Behave yourselves or I'll come and live next door to you.

Charlie Williams was black himself.

He started his post with "LOL" Sassy...and yes he could have been at a dance class, but he was asked to explain his odd remark (odd in light of the topic of the thread) then and several times since, the only response was 'he always tells the truth'.

I don't know him but I did like to read his posts because different viewpoints from different cultures etc are always interesting and informative.
