Murder of a man of peace: Muslim shopkeeper who wished his 'beloved Christian nation' a Happy Easter is stabbed 30 times by a FELLOW Muslim who sat laughing on his dying victim's chest

A newsagent was murdered by a fellow Muslim after he wished his Christian friends a peaceful Easter.

Asad Shah, who was stabbed up to 30 times at his shop, had praised both the life of Jesus and ‘his beloved Christian nation’. Left lying in a pool of blood, the 40-year-old died in hospital.

Police, who were questioning a 32-year-old suspect last night, said the killing was religiously motivated.

Mohammad Faisal, a family friend, said a bearded Muslim wearing a long religious robe entered Mr Shah’s shop and spoke to him in his native language before stabbing him in the head with a kitchen knife.

Mr Shah’s brother, who was working next door, rushed out to find the killer laughing while sitting on the Glasgow newsagent’s bleeding chest.

‘The brother dragged Mr Shah away but the guy continued attacking with the blade,’ said Mr Faisal. ‘They struggled up to the bus stop where Asad collapsed.

‘It was just a clear-cut revenge attack. For posting messages about peace, messages about greeting fellow Christians and Jews.

‘That man must not have been too happy about what he was doing, what he was preaching. It was a well-planned attack. He must have been an extremist."

It seems fairly straightforward as the chap was caught red handed. I hope he gets life with no parole.

The poor victim was just trying to reach out to Christians, and he paid for it with his life.

The suspect should probably be investigated for possible terrorist activities as well since he seems to be very extreme. It's a wonder he hasn't been picked up before.

Last Thursday night in Glasgow, an assailant stabbed local shopkeeper Asad Shah 30 times and stomped on his head, killing him.

The hypocrisy has risen to the level of insanity.

If that persists (and I’m sadly confident that it will), we’ll see more horrific events like the brutal killing of a gentle shopkeeper — and yesterday’s Easter bombing of Pakistani Christians picnicking in a park in Lahore, carried out by the fundies of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.
As for Asad Shah, an online fundraiser has been set up by some of his customers in support of his grieving family. At this writing, donations total more than $117,000.

Where is all the Muslims marching against this violence and extremism?
This is why people are rightly concerned about the importing of Wahhabism and other hard-line Islamism to this country.
Sooner or later this is going to break out into violence, mass violence, because little is being done from within the Muslim communities.
