Re: Tory party in meltdown.
It's too late for Duncan Smith to claim he is against Osborne's draconian cuts when it's not that long ago he was seen cheering Osborne's policies as 'fantasic'

Real reason he has gone: https://uk.news.yahoo.com/ids-loses-legal-challenge-to-keep-universal-credit-101013025.html?soc_src=social-sh&soc_trk=tw
Nadine Dorries is tweeting he raged at her when she said she was going to vote against the cuts in disability benefits, the very cuts he says he is resigning about.

The truth is rather more disturbing.
IDS wanted to round up the disabled and ship them to internment camps for disposal.
Osborne told him the money for it would not be svsilable for 5 years.

Nope. Just look at what that nutty Blair did on his nutty Blair bitch project: Licked the American's arse and got us into a whole heap of shit.

Then of course we had that bumbling, mumbling thief - Gordon Brown.....Jesus Christ.

Nick Clegg - don't ask me why. He just came across as honest and not deliberately out for himself.
Tbf I don't think all politicians are evil lol, and many who are, don't start out that way either IMO
I think many of them go into politics for all the right reasons, just that not everything is black and white and there's lots of red tape and compromise.....and fellows MP's full of corruption and I guess some where along the line a politican can get disheartened and disillusioned.
That's my take on it.

IDS is a big supporter of leaving the eu... but now being made to look like the man who wants to take benefits away from disabled people...
He was cheering about the nat living wage announcement last year though...

Good evening Miffs2... why do you say that..?
Think about it... tory cabinet minister and big political heavyweight... strong supporter of leaving eu... resigns after pro eu camerin and Osborne try to make him the poster boy for £1.5 billion of cuts to disabled benefits...!!!
If he was in favour of it then he wouldn't have walked out!!!
And if he had no integrity, but disagreed, he wouldnt have walked out either... but stayed for the job/money/cabinet position and done what he was told...!

IDS is expecting us to believe he is against further cuts to the welfare budget? He has not had a problem with all the previous cuts despite all the evidence of the harm done. Osborne had made no secret that there would be even more cuts to the welfare budget. IDS doesn't fool me. He is a snake. This is about Europe for him, he knows he was never going to hang on to a job in cabinet. Don't get me wrong I love the sight of those mealy mouthed self serving Tory bastards disappearing up their own backsides, but it doesn't make me think IDS is one of the good guys.

Re: Tory party in meltdown.
Cuts to the welfare budget were well needed before because it had ran completely out of control... under Labour there were people claiming £100,000 a year and far too many were better off on benefits than by working!!!
Too many using the benefits system as a hammock instead of a safety net and playing it to try to have a life on the state rather than working as they should be...!
Dont you agree thar hings had to change...?

Re: Tory party in meltdown.
you mean like those too many fiddling the tax
which cost the country something like twice the benefits bill(less pensions) or more...
It would have been better to "fix" that FIRST
and the cuts to the benefits have not really hit the ones who needed hitting, or at least they have hit the most needy the hardest....
its got nothing to do with actually "trimming" anything when the benefits that are being hardest hit constitute but a fragnebt of te total benefits bill....
and everything to do with typical toffee nosed f**k you tory hatred of the less fortunate....

Waffle...
Those claiming most and taking the Piss most have been hit hardest by the benefits cap and the tough jsa regime!!!
The days of claiming 100 grand a year are gone and so are the days of sitting around all week and pretending you have been looking for work when you attend the job centre once a fortnight!!!

Re: Tory party in meltdown.
My daughter has COPD, because she could not get to the job centre she missed her appointments twice. Despite a letter from her Doctor confirming it they stopped all her payments except for £33. child ALLOWENCE. It took almost 10 months and a visit to a nominated examiner, witch she had to attend in a wheelchair before her money was reinstated. During this time there was no money to pay gas and electric, water rates, rent, and many other things including clothes and shoes for herself and two kids.
A neighbour told me she had seen her crying in the park, the fucking DWP would do nothing for her.
It was a good job I had money to help her out, witch I happily did to the tune of almost £15 hundred pounds over the 10 months. She's got her money back now but I was very lucky she didn't kill herself!
