I know he drummed a lot on the White Album ...RIP George, what a brilliant producer for the greatest rock act of all time (that's right, Didge).

RIP George, what a brilliant producer for the greatest rock act of all time (that's right, Didge).
Pete Best is often referred to as either the fifth or sixth Beatle, depending on whose lists you are looking at..
He was the original drummer, sacked early on and replaced by Ringo Starr..
Stuart Sutcliffe is then referred to as either the sixth or seventh Beatle.
He was the original bassist, but died in 1961, and Paul McCartney changed over to bass guitar..
There were two drummers who sometimes filled in for Ringo, and both have been referred to as the "sixth" Beatle : Andy White and Jimmy Nicol...
Brian Epstein has also been referred to as the fifth Beatle, alongside George Martin..
And then there was 'Lord Woodbine' -- the black musician credited with teaching them R&B during their early days.
