I met him...he was vile. A creepy arrogant little man.
I am convinced the power he held was because of what he knew about others much higher up the social scale than he was.

Being heard and believed is closure of a kind I suppose....it's better than being ignored which many were for so long.
Savile died believing he had got away with everything, in a way he had, but his name is filth and will forever be so.

Plenty of girls did meet him even though they had heard what he was like. I guess they liked the presents or something.
