My son bought for the first time last year.
He has rented for years....wasted money imo, but he had no responsibilities so it suited him.

How about property prices in your area Syl, are they affordable to first time buyuz?
2 bedroom Victorian terraces are around the £100 grand mark for eg.

They certainly were. He rented one for years.
Unless they are in clearance areas they will be standing and in good nick a lot longer than some modern built houses.
