I'm not going to comment on the actual guy who was convicted because it's all fairly obvious.

I find the law quite interesting in this respect though in that someone can be convicted of planning to commit a crime against someone who doesn't actually exist.

I wonder about these traps which are sometimes set for pub workers. They send someone in who looks under 18 to see if they get served, but if that person is actually over 18 they wouldn't be able to prosecute them if they did serve them, would they?
