Russia Blamed For 1,400 Syrian Civilian Deaths

Almost 1,400 civilians have died in Russian air strikes in Syria since the bombing raids began last September, say reports.
The aerial attacks have also killed at least 965 Islamic State fighters and 1,233 others from different insurgent groups, according to the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

It comes as UN-brokered peace talks are being held in Geneva, Switzerland, to try to end Syria's five-year-old civil war, which has claimed the lives of over 260,000 people and displaced more than half the population.
The main Syrian opposition group at the talks, the Saudi-backed High Negotiations Committee (HNC), has demanded a halt to Moscow's bombing campaign, which is aimed at helping Syrian President Bashar al Assad.
Moscow says it is targeting IS jihadists - but rebels and residents say the Russian aerial raids are causing hundreds of civilian casualties in indiscriminate attacks.

1) Where is the mass lefties protesting these deaths and using racist hate against Russia?
2) Where is the new directive in the BDS to call for the banning of not only Russian but Saudi produced goods to as there has been civilian casualties? As according to the BDS the death of a civilian is automatically a war crime if Jews take out military targets
Where is the charges made so often against Israel proves civilian colateroal deaths through interpretation are then seen as a theological crime. Why is there not for every single other countries resolutions over civilian deaths. I mean 200,000 in Syria alone brings how many resolutions and charges of war crimes compare to the actual sad tragic loss of life due to the indented murder by Hamas to place human shields and demand people die for the cause after being warned to move by the Israelis?

Of course what many regressive fail to understand is that where sadly there is some civilian casualties, the intent was not to kill them, which is often lost on the left who think wars should be fought with flowers or surrender to their unethical and barbaric demands. Even though they call the intended murder of Israeli civilians, armed Resistance to occupation,, which no matter how much they dress this up, is still murder in peace time as terrorism, or a war crime in war, as the civilians were intentionally targeted. With not a peep out of then when places like Gaza are not occupied and the west bank only has part security control and they continually attack Israel where the sole intent of the Political Palestinian authorities is to wipe out the Jews, as they have tried to do and attempted to do, even before Israel was created again in 1948. They are always bowing down to threats and terrorism, appeasing terrorism, making the worst excuses for terrorism, which then aids people being turned towards joining such groups. Blame the west even though it is fundamentally obvious to the vast majority that it is beliefs within Islam that are fundamentally the problem

I don't know about civilian deaths, but according to reports, Assad is making progress in Syria against the rebels, helped of course by Russia. Maybe if these rebel groups stopped trying to attack Assad, it might help. Of course he's not going to just let them do what they like. The more groups which get involved, the more destruction there will be, and of course civilians will get caught up in it.

Some other countries are very critical of Russia and its support of Assad, but it's no use criticising the Russians or Assad for attacking rebel-held areas. They can simply say that backing the rebels, as the US has done, has prolonged this war and contributed to many deaths and the displacement of civilians, which has led to the huge influx into Europe.

I disagree with the way Cameron and the USA is handling it. It's you who doesn't understand the situation. The Russians aren't going to stop bombing Syria and backing Assad any time soon, so what would your solution to be? For the US, UK, and other countries to take on the Russians in order to defeat Assad? If this war keeps on being "diluted" by all the warring factions, there will never be a solution, and there will be more and more refugees. Don't you understand that?

It's best at the moment if Assad wins against the rebels. I keep telling you - Assad can be dealt with later, but you never listen.

In Aleppo, for example, it's been a no-win situation with the rebels fighting Assad, and neither side was backing down, winning, or losing, so it went on an on.

If you had your way, The US, UK, and other countries would take on Russia, and there would be even more casualties.

Well look, there's no point the US, UK, and other countries pussyfooting around arming rebels when they feel like it. If they want to go for Assad, they should go for him, and they can then go for the Russians as well because they pretty much come as a package.

Also, bear in mind that they went for Saddam Hussein because they didn't think he was a nice chap and he was killing too many people in Iraq - well they decided that was the reason after they realised there were no WMD of course. Anyway, look how that turned out.

I've said it before and I'll say it again re these "rebels" - today's allies are probably tomorrow's terrorists.
