An all party coilition. For that to happen there would need to be Proportional Representation ,which will never happen whilst we have only 2 main parties.
Each cabinet post needs to be filled by a specialist ie defence from one of the forces, business -a leading businnessman, health by a leading health expert, education by a leading university head with Secondary school expert advice. The Chancellor -governor of tbe Bank of England supported by an expert panel of top financiers.
The fact is that most MPs are inherently corrupt,are in it for what they can get themselves,and regard it as a footing to set themselves up in the future as advisors and consultants with little or no expertise in their field.

Brits in the past ruled many nations,weather that was good or bad is debatable.

Actually that is fair
'rule' is not right for the modern era,
'govern' is more correct... people have choices now.
