Coming from Manchester myself, the story of Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs allowing the homeless people to use the old Stock exchange was widely publicised here....not by them either, but by the homeless people they had helped.
It's brilliant that it's worked out and is enabling people to have a warm place to stay over Christmas and onwards till February, which was the original intention.

The local council should do more to help....as should all councils throughout the UK. It's scandalous that in this day and age people are forced to sleep on the streets because they have no place to call home.
