So according to that link they would rather throw the food away than serve it to a hungry child......madness.

Pathetic.
I read this morning that two 4 year olds were excluded from seeing Father Christmas at school because the parents had not paid the required fee. Every other child received a present, the two little ones had to sit away from the festivities and received nothing.
Sad.
