Aamer Tells Extremists To 'Get The Hell Out'

so we can only be left with the thought that those who claim to be radicalised are merly hooking onto an excuse, ready made for them and enthusiatically promoted by the left.

Shaker Aamer, the last British resident held at Guantanamo Bay, has delivered a blunt message for Islamic extremists living in the UK to "get the hell out".

Mr Aamer, 48, returned to Britain in October after being held without charge for 13 years at the US military facility in Cuba.

During his time in captivity, Mr Aamer's lawyers said he was tortured and held in solitary confinement for 360 days.

In an interview with The Mail on Sunday, the father of four spoke out against extremists: "How can you give yourself the right to be living here in this country, and living with the people and acting like you are a normal person, and then you just walk in the street and try to kill people?"

He said Islam did not allow the killing of civilians: "Even if there is a war you cannot kill just anybody, you cannot kill kids, you cannot kill chaplains, you cannot just go in the street and get a knife and start stabbing people.


"If you are that angry about this country, you can get the hell out."

On the rift between Muslim and non-Muslims, he said: "It helps their (extremists) cause... if you keep looking at people like they are terrorists before they do anything, then you will push them towards violence."

Mr Aamer also said his period of detention will stay with him forever, even though his reunion with his family reunion "washed away the pain of 14 years".

"It's always going to be in the back there in my mind, it's going to be sitting there, coming back from time to time," he said.

"It's a long period of experience and it can't be just gone."

Mr Aamer was originally detained in Afghanistan in 2001, accused of having links to al Qaeda. He was described in US military files as a "close associate of Osama bin Laden" who fought in the battle of Tora Bora.


However, Mr Aamer says he was doing charity work and in 2007 the allegations against him were dropped.

Mr Aamer is now expected to bring legal proceedings against the UK government over its alleged complicity in his mistreatment.

Oh do change the record.  Too scared to lock up Choudrey?  The law of the land has to be followed, so that is up to the Crown Prosecution Service.

And the Conservatives are the ones who are in charge of letting people back into the country or not, and have been for the last 5.5 years in case you haven't noticed.

the law of the land provides for those who break bail to be jailed...he was prosecuted and its down to the judge...NOT the CPS...

Victor mate sadly a group within our society, not all lefties but the regressives would forsake these lands, if only just to spite everyone. They show the worst double standards, they never speak out if the racists are Muslims themselves mainly because they hold the same racist beliefs themselves against Israeli's. They understand fundementally, that they have to be far more extreme than their enemy, to the point that the more extremne they are the more chance the other side will concede. They fail to grasp that we have to be far more extreme than our enemy, because look how effective their strategy has been so far going to the worst extremes. Like I say they understand Von Clausewitz very well. They are also cleary students of the absolute war between Germany and Russia, which was fought with again the worst extremes. That is why we will always continue to fail in this conflcit, as this enemy knows it will not negotitate and ultimately wants are way of life gone. If people think this is because of western policy, they know nothing of history. For example the Wahhabists were once terrorists within the Ottoman Empire and there was no colonalism 300 years ago in the Middle East and why the regressive lefts have no conception of the reosolve or goals of ISIS.

The only way to defeat an enemy who uses extreme methods is to be more extreme and we did so in WW2.
The Japanese for example also used extreme methods, with suicide bombing and naval and soldier charges. It took two atom bombs by going even more extreme to defeat them so harshly. The same with German conmpletely destroyed to the extremes at the end of WW2, that left both nations knowing that the resolve of their enemy was greater than theirs. So much so each nation has move on knowing it cannot defeat those willing to go more extreme than them. The Russians were extreme against the Germans and we went to the extremes with Japan.

We need to do the same here that the enemy is so utterly defeated and destroyed, they will be so broken knowing we can be worse, they will never attempt to rise up again. This may sound harsh but it is ultimately the only way to defeat such extremism, you have to go to leanghs in war far more extreme than theirs.

Well sassy we know you know nothing of strategy other than to hand over our lands, but, it had to be said. Nobody wants to go to extremes, but we have had to before to win and it was so successful, Germany did not rise up a third time to fight the world

Case in point, after WW1 Germany did not think or believe that they had been defeated and they believed others and blamed others for the surrender. They never were properly invaded in WW1, so again it gave off the belief others had conceded defeat, when it then allows for a false belief they could have won. This then led to the extremes of Nazism and Hitler, who had to be defeated with many extreme measures. So much so we ended up killing many Allied civillians in the cause to defeat the nazis, to the point they were utterly destroyed in the end. It shattered Germany and like I say they have never look to rise up against anyone ever since.

you will probably recall that a while ago I asked why we should be "better than them", and said we should fight fire with fire...

the concept of "no quarter" has its place in military strategy, something THEY understand only too well....
