Matthew Keys is a Reuters employee accused of handing over a username and password to Anonymous to grant them access to a Tribune Media server.

A hacker decided to use this to leave a little silly graffiti on two minor news stories that were caught in half an hour and fixed.

Now he could be in prison for nearly half his life:

Seems a bit much, I can understand the fine but don't see why there is so much prison time. just shows how much the law protects Corporate media organisations. allowing someone to deface their website is apparently on par with killing someone.
